if we can look past our pain
past the broken remains of yesterday
we can see the hand of God
in everything there is to see
in every drop that falls from the sky
nourishing the ground alive
in every ray of sun that shines
making the trees grow tall and wide
even in things that die
the change they left behind
that no one can see
but Gods eye
you are beautiful
no matter who
you are beautiful

God made all sorts
big, small, wide tall
so go on
like sparrows of the sky
fly in your own way
the way you were made
you do not have to change
to be beautiful
