I began my morning by watching this video by Alex Moukala:
I was looking at his cello orchestration:
And I realized that he does this constant variation that keeps things interesting.. While I often just fall back to one pattern that becomes.. Ahem.. Not so interesting..
So this time I played a 9 bar beat with a kick drum first.. Than I translated
that into chords that the cellos play..
I also used his trick on having another higher frequency instrument playing the melody again.. I went from violins in the beginning to trumpets in the end..

Then I wrote orchestration on top of that.. Nothing like what Alex Moukala can do.. But I thought it came pretty nice..
I really like the effect of the chords played by most string instruments in end of both sections.. I really like that frequency wall from low to high.. I
hope I can do something with that in the future. .
I will call this classic even though there is a kick drum there.. But the orchestral drum just would not work the same way..
