this is a story about a guy called bad luck Joe
he has got a whole bunch of problem in his his wake
but lets start from the beginning as the morning breaks
he started his day drinking a whiskey straight
he got in to car, but the car wouldn't start
so he hailed a cab, but the cab did not get far
before a car crash left him dizzy on the street
so he wondered off to a alley where he heard a shriek
a black cat came to joe and peed on his shoe
that is when he saw his good old buddy called hugh
so hugh he came to him and said i'll beat you up
he asked why and he just said my wife told you like it rough

when he came to he was barely hanging there
he tried to stand on his foot but he failed
he tried some screaming but his voice would not work
so he quietly whispered could someone come and help
that is when it started raining raining water and sleet
so he tried crawling crawling back to the street
and he saw a mouse watching keenly what he did
it came to him and bit him on his nose a little bit

when he woke up he was in a full body cast
the doctor told him they gave him morphine but he did not have a chance
so he kicked the bucket and the next thing that he knew
he was born a baby to a world that he already knew
his mother gave him a name bad luck joe
the schoolyard bullies gave him a wedgie every day
he was like mop he mopped the bad luck away
without him this world would be a much worse place
