I watched a documentary about R&B singer Mavis Staples last night.. And I guess it inspired the song of today. .
I have never really been able to do proper R&B, knowing it is very, very complicated, involving complicated chords I am not used to like 9ths and 13ths and so on.. But I spent 4 and half hours making this, trying to make something like it..
Before I made the project I watched this youtube video about R&B:
I figured the tempo was 150 and played the beat into FPC drum machine (I used Jazz Drums).. But for the music I went my own way..
So here it is:

Like Sparrow In A Tree
****************
in this big old world
there are many things
we will never grasp
so we live on faith
like sparrow in a tree
like glimmer in the eye
of distant constellation
touching the mind of child, oh
lord of mine I am
just a big fool
I am sorry I sometimes
pretend like I know
these things that you made these
gems that we are
his humble crown of glory
shining in the night
in this big old world
where we feel alone
even when the love
shines all around
in this cradle of a man
where we just learn to crawl for purpose
we can not understand
where the road it leads, oh
like sparrow in a tree
like glimmer in the eye
of distant constellation
touching the mind of child, oh babe
lord of mine I am
just a big fool
I am sorry I sometimes
pretend like I know
in this cradle of a man
where we just learn to crawl for purpose
we can not understand
where the road it leads, oh babe
like sparrow in a tree
like glimmer in the eye
of distant constellation
touching the mind of child, oh
who knows about the future
who knows about today
living in this moment
is all we can do
these things that you made these
gems that we are
his humble crown of glory
shining in the night

The project is made with FLstudio v 20:
The FLP file is at: (99 Like Sparrow In A Tree.zip)
It uses:
Organized Trio by GSi
NI Kore player (Standing Bass)
(I know Kore player has been discontinued by Native Instruments, but I did
find this download link at brothersoft, I do not know if you can register the
instrument anymore though.)
